I intend to buy a domain name. And this domain name will be associated with my server’s IP address, which unfortunately changes once in a while. Can I simply use my domain name, without having to define sub-domains?
I could not find a straightforward answer on the Internet. Yet I was able to gather some information, that I wish to present to you therein.

J’ai l’intention d’acheter un nom de domaine. Et ce nom de domaine devra être associé à l’adresse IP de mon serveur, qui est malheureusement susceptible de parfois changer. Puis-je utiliser mon nom de domaine tout simplement, sans avoir à définir de sous-domaines ?
Internet ne donne pas de réponse claire. J’ai tout de même pu rassembler quelques informations, que je vous présente ici.
